Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data the Gorgo websites collect, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It covers gorgojs.com, gorgojs.ru and the documentation sites.
Who We Are
Gorgo builds integrations for Medusa and runs the websites named above. We decide what happens to the data described here.
This policy does not cover the data your own Medusa store processes through our plugins. That data stays in your infrastructure and never reaches us.
What We Collect
Two kinds of data reach us.
- What you type into a form. The beta application asks for your name, your company, your email, your Medusa version, the size of your catalog, which 1C configuration you run and how your current exchange works. You can leave the Telegram handle and the store URL empty. Nothing else on the site asks you for anything.
- What your browser reports. Your IP address, the browser and device you use, the page that referred you and the pages you open.
We ask for no payment details and there is no account to sign in to, so we hold no password of yours.
How We Use It
- To answer you. An application arrives as an email to the Gorgo team, and we reply to the address you gave.
- To run the beta program. Your Medusa version, catalog size and exchange setup tell us whether the plugin fits your case and what to test next.
- To keep the form usable. We attach the sender's IP address to every application, which is how we tell a real one from an automated flood.
- To count visits. Google Analytics tells us which pages people read and which ones they leave.
We don't sell your data, we don't build advertising profiles, and we don't send marketing you didn't ask for.
Legal Basis
- Consent covers anything you send through a form. Pressing the button is your decision.
- Legitimate interest covers analytics and spam protection. We need to know how people use the site and to keep the forms working.
Who Else Sees It
Applications go to the team mailbox. Beyond the team, the data reaches only:
- the email provider that delivers and stores the message
- Google Analytics, which receives the usage data
- the hosting provider, whose server logs record requests
- anyone a lawful request obliges us to tell
How Long We Keep It
- Applications stay in the team mailbox while their program is running and while our correspondence with you continues.
- Analytics data follows Google's own retention window.
- The IP addresses we use to rate-limit the form live in the server's memory for an hour and disappear when the server restarts.
Your Rights
Write to support@gorgojs.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer within 30 days. If you sent an application and changed your mind, say so and it goes.
You can stop the analytics at your end with any browser setting or extension that blocks Google Analytics. Nothing on the site breaks without it.
Security of Your Data
Traffic runs over HTTPS. Two-factor authentication protects the mailbox and the hosting accounts, and only the team members who work on the program can read the applications.
No transfer over the internet is perfectly safe, so treat a contact form the way you would treat any email and keep credentials, keys and customer data out of it.
Changes to This Policy
When this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. If a change affects data you have already sent us, we write to the address in your application.
